Anne Duff - Overall Winner 2021/2022 - Anne was very patient carrying her title over due to the pandemic. Finally, her modelling dream came true with her international catwalk debut for House of iKons at London Fashion Week in February 2022 - Showcasing "Warrior Women" - wearing a beautiful red dress designed by Oxana Hefferon.
SIZE GORGEOUS ONLINE 2020 mini competition was created during the pandemic, we decided that the Women of Ireland needed an opportunity to dress up. There were two categories - Under 30 and Over 30, we were overwhelmed with the response. Mental Health Awareness - Behind the Mask
Size Gorgeous Management supported and raised awareness of mental health; as a modelling agency showed their support and raised awareness of mental health with a professional photo shoot. This picture features some of the Size Gorgeous models who are strong ambassadors for mental health, some have themselves been personally affected.
Size Gorgeous Management wanted to use our platform to end the stigma associated with mental health, showing solidarity with those affected on a national and international scale. Everyone needs to go one step further and be aware, reaching out to people we think need our assistance - it is our responsibility it isn't only the person who is suffering responsibility to reach out. Be ready and willing to listen - we are programmed to say I'm fine when asked; because it is not socially acceptable to say how we really feel, so we hide ourselves behind a smile, that smile becomes our mask.
This photo is 'Behind The Mask' - to show vulnerability, based on the perception people put on a brave face to show they are not suffering, not affected by mental health issues, looking and acting like everything is fine when and they are dying inside. Look behind the mask and meet them half way.
Size Gorgeous Management hope our photo shoot campaign reaches every person - and we thank you for your support.
This project would not have been possible without the assistance of Louise Slevin (Photographer).
